For Your Entertainment is Adam Lambert's debut album after American Idol, released on November 23, 2009. The album contains, among the new tracks, the song "Time for Miracles" which was featured in the movie 2012. Although not the first album Lambert recorded, it is considered his first released work; Take One, which Lambert recorded before his participation in American Idol, was claimed by Lambert to be "my chance to make a few bucks" and "in no way reflects the music I am currently in the studio working on."
The album's title track and first released single, "For Your Entertainment," was first featured on Ryan Seacrest's radio show on October 30, 2009. iTunes offered the single for sale on November 3, 2009.
