"Purple Haze" is a song written by Jimi Hendrix and released by the Jimi Hendrix Experience in 1967.
It was covered as an encore by Adam Lambert during his 2010 Glam Nation Tour. Lambert changed the words, "Excuse me while I kiss the sky" to "Excuse me while I kiss this guy." He then kissed his bassist, Tommy Joe Ratliff.
